"After" heads to Iowa and the Snake Alley Film Festival

June 22, 2026

The Hawkeye State will welcome No Homework Production this July.

"After" has been named an official selection at the Snake Alley Film Festival, held yearly in Burlington, Iowa. This marks the films seventh festival screening since premiering earlier this year at Cinema on the Bayou and holds the distinction of being the first NHP film to screen in Iowa.

"We're honored to be screening at one of Iowa's premiere film festivals," said Wesley Boone, the film's director. "Snake Alley Film Festival has a reputation as being a strong platform for independent filmmakers and we're excited to be included in a great line-up of films."

Held at the Captiol Theatre, over a hundred short films will screen over four days. "After" will open up Block D on Friday, July 10, at 1 p.m. To view the schedule and purchase tickets, visit the Snake Alley Film Festival website.
