Pair of NHP films selected for latest installment of Baton Rouge Underground Film Festival

August 1, 2026

The Baton Rouge Underground Film Festival will give Louisiana audiences a unique opportunity this August: the opportunity to see the very first and the very latest of No Homework Productions short films.

"We were excited, if not a little shocked, to see Collect Call selected for BRUFF," said writer/director Wesley Boone. "Pairing our first NHP short with our latest, Dead Air, will give audiences in Baton Rouge a chance to see how far we've grown in just a few short years."

The Baton Rouge Underground Film Festival hosted the Louisiana Premiere for "Donor" in 2025 and will do the same for Dead Air in just a few short weeks.

"I am deeply touched that (BRUFF) has chosen Dead Air to screen at their festival," said writer/director Trevor L. Poole. "It means a lot to me to know that the film will screen for audiences in the state that I was born and raised in."

"Collect Call" and "Dead Air" both screen on Sunday, August 30, at the Manship Theater in Baton Rouge, LA. Learn more about the Baton Rouge Underground Film Festival here and watch the trailers for Dead Air and Collect Call
